Northeastern University: Wireframes & Visual Design

My agency won some work with Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies. I was pretty excited for this project because I meant I got to work for my alma mater. The project itself was pretty challenging, and required a lot of late nights and several redesigns. I started off creating the sitemap, and then quickly moved into designing several interior pages. The client was a bit challenging in that they have so much content to show, and wanted to show it all on every page. We tried explaining to them that each page should have one goal (drive the user to the detail pages/apply!) but we were met with a lot of struggle, so in the end the pages became rather busy. It was an interesting challenge though because I certainly grew stronger as a designer. Having to defend my work at every meeting isn't easy but it was a great growing experience!

An example of a program detail page. The challenge with these pages was the amount of content I needed to account for!

Here's that same program detail page with the alternate tab opened. I tried to group the content together in a way that made sense

This (long) page is a list of all the graduate programs offered, and whether you can take the course online/offers a VISA

Here's an example of my homepage design. Another challenge with this client was the amount of content they wanted on each page!
