Mobile Devices
An inside project I was tasked with at my last company was to design a mobile device template document. I was given a list of mobile, and tablet devices, and asked to turn them into stencils so we could design in the physical space each device's screen size warranted.
I started by gathering images of the devices, from websites, coworkers, etc. I then brought each device image into Illustrator and traced it (scaled to size). I gathered all the details of each device, including screen size, height and width of the device, etc. I organized them all together, and then presented the document to our internal UX directors. The document has gotten a lot of use!
