Liquid Labs: Visual Design Project at General Assembly
I took the visual design course at General Assembly in September-October 2018, and learned how to create a design from top to bottom. We started with a creative brief, pulling out key insights about our clients’ target audience and brand guidelines. From there we moved into the competitor space, understanding the market and where the need for this product is. We continued on with color theory, typography, composition and more until we got to our final presentations which we had to present to the whole class as if they were the client we were trying to impress. We were graded on overall design, quality of research and presentation style among many other factors. I really loved this course and it taught me so much about visual design and how it’s so much more than just the visual look and feel of your product. View my final creative brief here:
